Philosophy as a tool for daily life

On Wednesday 22 April 2026, the Verona branch of Nuova Acropoli OdV opens its doors to anyone who wants to approach philosophy in a concrete and transformative way. The appointment is set for 7:00 pm at the new venue at Via Redipuglia, 4, in the heart of Verona, with the presentation of a pathway designed for those who want to turn philosophical reflection into a real tool for personal growth.

The slogan chosen by the association is "FilosoFare": an invitation not to limit yourself to studying philosophy, but to live it, practise it, embody it in everyday choices. Admission to the presentation evening is completely free.

The project is organised in 12 weekly meetings, open to everyone without any particular prerequisites. The first month of participation is completely free, making this an accessible opportunity for anyone who wants to explore the pathway before committing further.

The meetings do not follow a traditional lecture format: they combine theory and practice, alternating moments of in-depth study with concrete exercises and shared dialogue. The themes touch on some of the great traditions of human thought: from the wisdom of India to Greek Stoicism, by way of Buddhism, Plato and Aristotle. Each meeting thus becomes an opportunity to explore how these ancient teachings can answer very contemporary questions: how do we face difficulties? How do we build more harmonious relationships? How do we find inner balance?

The pathway presents itself as an open space, in which interest in nature, science, art and spirituality coexist. It is not a path reserved for experts or academics, but an invitation extended to anyone who wonders about the great "whys" of existence and wants to find, through philosophy, practical tools for living with greater awareness and serenity.

As the organisers point out, philosophy does not promise magic formulas for happiness, but offers something perhaps more precious: a way to grow, to understand oneself and to contribute, starting from oneself, to a more compassionate world.

For anyone in Verona these days, the evening of 22 April represents an unusual opportunity: not just another tourist visit, but a moment of genuine pause, in the company of those who have made inner research their mission.
