A Sunday morning of creativity and crafts

If you are looking for an original way to experience Verona beyond the usual tourist itineraries, this could be exactly what you are looking for. On Sunday 1 March 2026, the Francesca Veneri Art Studio opens its doors to anyone who wants to spend a different kind of morning, learning to work with their hands and taking home something they made themselves.

The appointment is from 9:30 to 11:00 at Via Barbarani Berto 14. No previous experience is required: the workshop is designed to be accessible to everyone, whether it is your first contact with macramé or simply a desire to try something new.

The day fits into an even richer context: 1 March coincides with the San Zeno antiques and crafts market, one of the most loved appointments in Verona and beyond. This means that before or after the workshop you can stroll among the neighbourhood stalls, browse vintage objects and artisan products, and experience the authentic atmosphere of one of the most fascinating quarters in the city.

During the workshop, guided by Francesca Veneri, you will create a macramé plant hanger with a natural, elegant style, perfect for adding a handmade touch to your home or for an original gift. All necessary materials are included in the participation fee, and together with the kit you will also receive a small plant provided by Fioreria Ranuncoli — so your hanger will be ready to be lived in straight away.

The cost is €30 per person, a price that includes everything needed to complete the project. Places are limited, so if the idea intrigues you it is best to move quickly: reservations are made directly via WhatsApp at 328 8013683. A chance to stop, slow down and take home a memory of Verona made with your own hands!
