An evening of illusion and wonder at the Teatro Nuovo
On Saturday 11 April 2026, the Teatro Nuovo of Verona hosts one of the most acclaimed illusionism shows on the Italian scene. Taking the stage will be Mycras, the stage name of Michele Cabras: magician, actor and performer with an international career, with over a thousand performances all over the world and winner of the Vinicio Raimondi International Prize.
The show, titled "10 – Oltre La Magia", has been awarded the Eccellenza Italiana 2025-2026 recognition and has already won over audiences in Brescia and Cagliari before landing in Verona. A production by P&M Company – L'Evento – Live your Dream, which puts on stage not just a magic show, but a true theatrical narrative in which magic, music, dance and theatre merge into a single stage language of high visual and emotional impact.
On stage, alongside Mycras, an exceptional cast: cellist Francesco Fezzardi, pianist and choir conductor Lorenc Lleshi, and dancer and choreographer Luana Maoddi.
Mycras's artistic path has its roots in street illusionism and digital communication — his viral videos opened important doors to him, including a participation at Milano Games Week — but it has evolved well beyond the traditional magic act. Inspired since youth by David Copperfield, Mycras has turned illusion into a narrative and cultural tool, capable of tackling profound themes with the lightness of wonder.
In "10 – Oltre La Magia", manipulation, card magic and mentalism intertwine in a journey through past, present and future, giving rise to a poetic reflection on time, dreams and the possibilities of human imagination. The audience is led through a visionary tale that literally leaves you holding your breath.
It is not the first time Mycras has gone beyond the stage: his previous show "Qualcosa d'insolito" became the series "Something Unusual" for Amazon Prime Video in the USA, Germany and the United Kingdom, awaiting distribution in Italy as well. In 2025 he also conceived and organised "Top Magic – Gran Galà Internazionale della Magia", sharing the stage with some of the biggest names on the contemporary magic scene.
A show designed for a cross-generational audience, suited to those who love to be surprised and to those looking for an evening out of the ordinary.
