"A Cellar Full of Noise": the story of the Beatles told by Brian Epstein
Are you in Verona and love music? On Friday 27 February, a show that won over audiences last year is back, and this year promises to be just as engaging. "A Cellar Full of Noise" is a theatre-song show dedicated to the story of the Beatles, but with an original and unusual point of view: that of Brian Epstein, the manager who first believed in four boys from Liverpool and turned them into a worldwide legend.
The show comes to life thanks to actor Mario Palmieri, who lends voice and body to Epstein's narration, guiding spectators through the golden years of Beatlemania. It is not a simple biography: it is an emotional journey made of anecdotes, successes, obstacles and moments of pure musical magic. Through the eyes of their manager, you will discover how one of the most extraordinary cultural phenomena of the twentieth century was born and grew.
But the show is not only words. Also on stage will be the Fourback, a band reinterpreting live the most famous songs of the Fab Four. From "Michelle" to "Twist and Shout", passing through many other immortal classics, music will become the perfect soundtrack for this timeless evening.
The appointment is at 9:00 pm at the Circolo Unificato dell'Esercito, at Corso Castelvecchio 4, in the heart of Verona. A striking location, just a few steps from the medieval castle of the same name, which will help make the evening even more special.
Admission is open to everyone: tickets cost 13 euros for non-members and 11 euros for members. For those who want to turn the evening into a full night out, the club also offers the option of dining before the show with a generous buffet for 20 euros. To book, just call 378 0915692.
