Verona Antiquaria: more than 200 exhibitors for a journey through time

If you are in Verona on Sunday 1 March 2026 and feel like spending a morning out of the ordinary, away from the most beaten tourist circuits, Verona Antiquaria is for you. The traditional monthly market returns to liven up the San Zeno district, one of the most authentic and fascinating corners of the city, treating visitors and residents alike to an old-world atmosphere.

For the occasion, the neighbourhood turns into a true open-air museum, where browsing the stalls full of history is as pleasant as it is surprising. Whether you are an experienced collector or simply a curious visitor in search of an out-of-the-ordinary souvenir, you will surely find something here to catch your attention.

The 1 March edition carries with it all the charm of the changing season. More than 200 exhibitors from across Northern Italy will bring to life a varied and richly stocked market: period furniture, rugs, ornaments, vintage clothing and accessories, collector's pieces and much more. Every stall is a small discovery, a corner where the past tells its story through objects that have crossed decades and generations.

The market spreads across a wide and evocative area: the stalls occupy Piazza San Zeno, Piazza Corrubbio, Piazza Pozza and the surrounding streets, including Via San Procolo, Via Lenotti, Via Porta San Zeno and Vicolo Fossetto. Strolling from one square to the next is also a chance to explore one of the best-preserved medieval districts in Verona, with the magnificent Basilica of San Zeno as a backdrop.

The event is organised by the RetrΓ²bottega Association, which has been running this initiative with passion and dedication for years, turning every first Sunday of the month into a regular fixture for enthusiasts from across the region. It is also designed for families: children are welcome, making it a visit suitable for all.

Admission is completely free, which makes it a great way to enrich your day in Verona without spending anything... unless, of course, you give in to the temptation to buy something!
