A weekend of flowers, rare plants and crafts in the heart of Verona
The Giardino Giusti comes alive again with one of the most awaited events of the Veronese spring: on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May 2026, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, the fourth edition of the Verona Flower Show opens its doors. Two days immersed in nature, among scents, colours and the timeless beauty of one of the city's most extraordinary locations.
The setting could hardly be more evocative: the Giardino Giusti, recognised as a national monument, is one of the most precious Italian-style gardens in the entire peninsula. Dating back to the late Renaissance, it is animated by statues, fountains and tree-lined avenues, and offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views over Verona. Visiting it during the Flower Show means enjoying a double experience: that of the exhibition and that of a historic place which, on its own, is already worth the trip.
The heart of the event is the botanical exhibition, with about 70 exhibitors selected among nurseries, collectors, growers and artisans. The route guides visitors through the discovery of rare and unusual plant species, shown at their peak seasonal expression: citrus, succulents, collector's roses, perennials, acidophilic varieties and fruit-bearing plants with prolonged flowering are just some of the expected protagonists.
Alongside the botanical component, the Verona Flower Show stands out for an offer that goes beyond simple exhibition. A green craftsmanship area explores the boundary between nature and sustainable creativity, while a food-and-wine courtyard invites a tasty pause with seasonal culinary offerings and floral cocktails â a detail that makes the event pleasant to enjoy at a slow pace, without rushing.
During the two days there are also workshops, in-depth activities and family initiatives, designed to involve children too. All collateral activities are free, but require reservation through the official website www.veronaflowershow.com.
A weekend that combines culture, nature and conviviality in one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy: it is hard to find a better way to enjoy Verona in spring.
