A walk through history, nature and devotion on Mount Baldo
The day begins in the historic center of Verona, where you meet the guide and the rest of the group near the Arena of Verona, the city's symbol. After a brief introduction to the itinerary, you move toward the hilly area surrounding the city, progressively leaving urbanity to immerse yourself in a landscape made of orderly vineyards, ancient rural houses and small villages. Along the way, the guide tells you curiosities about the history of the Veronese territory, about the relationship between the city and nearby Monte Baldo, known as the “garden of Europe” for the extraordinary variety of flora.
The transfer to the Spiazzi area allows you to observe from above the Adige Valley, with the river meandering between rocky walls and cultivated fields, gradually preparing you for the more intimate and meditative atmosphere that can be felt as you approach the sanctuary.
